What I Believe

As a Libertarian, I trust my neighbors to live their lives as they see fit, as long as they respect the rights of others.

I believe our Creator endows our natural rights upon us.
I believe the primary role of government is to protect these rights.

Life, Liberty and Property are sacred birthrights shared by us all.
Our Founding Fathers understood this. That is the reasoning behind our “Bill of Rights” contained in our Constitution.

I believe it is wrong to take money from one person to give to another. The redistribution of wealth is a symptom of socialism. Our nation was founded as a representative republic. Over the past several generations, it has become a socialist democracy.

I believe it is wrong to use force to achieve social or political goals. Force should only be used to defend lives and property.

I believe in free minds and free markets.

I believe in freedom.

What do you believe in?

"Libertarians believe the answer to America's political problems is the same commitment to freedom that earned America its greatness: a free-market economy and the abundance and prosperity it brings; a dedication to civil liberties and personal freedom that marks this country above all others; and a foreign policy of non-intervention, peace, and free trade as prescribed by America's founders."
